Breakfast, lunch and the hours between

A cheddar and apple grilled cheese cut in half on a dark plate.
A braised short rib sandwich on a dark plate with pickles.

The kettle goes on at seven. We pull espresso from a local roaster, brew pour-overs to order, and put maple lattes and chai together at the bar.

The kitchen cooks all day: a cheddar and apple grilled cheese, a braised short rib sandwich, and soup made each morning. Pastry sits on the counter until it runs out. After four, beer and Vermont cider.

Baked here

Maple pecan scones, baked each morning

We bake them before the doors open, and a second kind when the market has fruit worth bringing home. Margot has been making the scones since the day we opened.

Friday nights

Live acoustic sets by the window

Someone plays in the corner by the window on Friday nights. Quiet enough to talk over, close enough to hear from every table.
